I'm not technical. Is this going to be a nightmare?
It was built for a yard, not for IT people. If you can use WhatsApp you're overqualified. And founding yards get the setup done with me on the phone — you talk, I'll tell you where to tap.
What if you disappear?
There's an export-everything button — spreadsheets and a full backup — and it works even if your subscription lapses and the yard goes read-only. You'd download your data and carry on. No lock-in; that's deliberate, and you can test it on day one.
My spreadsheet works fine.
The spreadsheet isn't usually the problem — the chasing is. If yours writes the reminder emails and remembers who you've already asked, honestly, keep it.
Do my customers have to do anything?
No. Out of the box it's a tool for you and your staff; customers just get well-timed emails from your yard. There's an optional portal you can switch on later if you want them paying online — it's off unless you turn it on.
How long does the £29 price last?
The first ten businesses pay £29 a month for the first 12 monthly payments of their subscription. From the thirteenth payment it is £39 a month per yard. The free trial does not count towards those 12 paid months. It applies to one yard per business and doesn't restart if you cancel and rejoin. You can cancel before any renewal.
I store boats, trailers or motorhomes, not caravans.
It doesn't much care what's on the plot. Vehicles are recorded as caravans, motorhomes, boats, trailers or something else, and plots, customers, money and dates work the same way for all of them.
